Print

Our printing method depends on where your order is produced and shipped from.

If your items are produced in Japan, we use DTF (Direct to Film) printing.
DTF allows high-quality prints on a wide variety of materials, including polyester and nylon, and supports many print positions such as chest, sleeves, and even large full-body designs.

If your items are produced in Australia, we use DTG (Direct to Garment) printing.
DTG is ideal for cotton-based fabrics and delivers excellent results on standard print areas such as the front and back of the garment.

Please note that available print positions and fabric compatibility may vary depending on the production country.
Always check the product detail page when placing your order.

DTG print (Direct to Garment)

DTG (Direct to Garment) is a printing method that applies eco-friendly, water-based inks directly to the surface of the fabric.

Because the fibres absorb the ink, the finished print stays soft and breathable, and the garment keeps its natural texture and feel.

Soft, lightweight finish

DTG printing delivers crisp detail with a light, flexible finish.
After a few washes, the print softens even more and blends smoothly with the fabric instead of sitting stiffly on top.

DTG is one of the most popular printing methods for on-demand production thanks to its soft feel, breathability, and durability.

High-quality & Eco-friendly

DTG produces high-resolution prints with vivid, accurate colours.

Using water-based inks and printing only what you need helps to minimise waste across the entire process, making DTG a more sustainable choice.

DTF print (Direct to Film)

DTF (Direct to Film) is a printing method in which your design is printed onto a special film, coated with adhesive powder, and then heat transferred onto the fabric.

This process creates durable prints on a broad range of materials, including cotton, polyester, nylon, and leather.

Vibrant colour & Precise detail

DTF is perfect for bright, full-colour artwork, complex graphics, small text, photographs, and fine illustrations.
Prints are sharp and clear and stay very close to your original design, regardless of fabric colour or type.

The prints will be sharp, clear, and realistic,
so they will be very close to the original design.
No matter the fabric colour or type, every design will be vibrant and vivid.

Durable & Flexible fabric options

DTF prints are resistant to repeated washing and common everyday wear. They are less likely to fade or crack compared with many traditional print methods.

DTF can be applied to many different fabrics — cotton, polyester, fleece, nylon, leather, and more — making it a highly flexible option when you want to print on a variety of materials.

FAQ

Q. Will my order be produced in Australia or Japan? Can I choose?

A. The production location is automatically determined by the product you order. Most cotton-based items such as T-shirts and hoodies are printed in Australia using DTG. Polyester sportswear and items that require prints in special locations are produced in Japan using DTF. You can see the production location on each product detail page.

Q. Which print method is better, DTG or DTF?

A. Both DTG and DTF are high-quality printing methods, but each works best with different materials and purposes.
- DTG blends beautifully with cotton fabrics because the ink soaks into the fibres, resulting in a soft, breathable finish.
- DTF is highly versatile and compatible with a wide range of materials such as polyester. It is known for its crisp detail and vibrant, solid colours.

Q. I want a large print on the front and a small print on the back neck. How do I order this?

A. When placing your order, simply select both “Front” and “Back” as your print locations, and upload the design file for each position.
